User Agreement

These terms set the rules for using EVV Jobs as a job seeker, employer representative, or visitor.

Effective August 21, 2026EVV Jobs

The ground rules

Built for useful, honest local hiring

01Be accurate

Use truthful account, organization, and job information.

02Be authorized

Only represent an employer or organization when you have permission.

03Be respectful

Do not misuse people’s information, discriminate unlawfully, spam, or interfere with the service.

1 Acceptance

This User Agreement is a contract between you and Aesir Industries LLC doing business as EVV Jobs. By accessing EVV Jobs, creating an account, or using the service, you agree to this agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use EVV Jobs for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use EVV Jobs. If you are under the age at which you can enter a binding contract where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and authorize your use. You must also be legally permitted to use the service under applicable law.

3 Accounts and sign-in

  • Provide accurate, current account information and keep it updated.
  • Use an email address you control. Your email account is the key to your EVV Jobs account because sign-in uses passwordless magic links.
  • Do not forward, publish, or share a magic link. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or email address has been compromised.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.
  • We may require reauthentication, reject a session, or restrict an account to protect users and the service.

A magic link expires after 15 minutes and works once. Approving it signs in the device that opens the link and the browser where the request started.

4 What EVV Jobs does

EVV Jobs provides tools that help job seekers and employers find one another. EVV Jobs is not an employer, staffing agency, background screening company, or agent of a user unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise. Employers make their own hiring and employment decisions.

EVV Jobs is independent and is not affiliated with the City of Evansville or any other government agency.

5 Job seeker responsibilities

Job seekers must provide truthful information and use employer information only for legitimate employment-related purposes. You are responsible for evaluating an employer, role, offer, and application destination before sharing information or accepting work. Never send money, financial credentials, or sensitive identity documents unless you have independently verified a legitimate need and recipient.

When you submit an in-app application, you direct EVV Jobs to share a private snapshot of your approved resume, verified account email, available contact details, optional note, employer questions, and answers with authorized members of the employer organization. You may choose whether to receive one email when the hiring team first opens that application. EVV Jobs also sends a neutral application-status email if the employer marks the application as not selected. That message does not include internal notes or decision details. When you choose a resume-by-email job, you direct EVV Jobs to email a copy of your approved resume and optional note to the organization contact address saved with that job and to include your verified email as the reply address. Email applications do not include employer-created questions, hiring-status tracking, or a hiring-team view notice. Updating or deleting your current resume later does not change a snapshot or recall an email already sent.

6 Employer and organization responsibilities

If you create or join an organization, publish a listing, or contact a job seeker on an employer’s behalf, you represent that you are authorized to do so. Employers must:

  • identify the actual employer and provide accurate contact and role information;
  • describe compensation, location, duties, qualifications, and employment terms truthfully;
  • provide the actual worksite used for location and transit calculations, and update the listing when that worksite changes;
  • use application statuses accurately and understand that marking an in-app candidate as not selected directs EVV Jobs to send that candidate a neutral status email;
  • comply with employment, wage, discrimination, accessibility, privacy, and consumer protection laws.

EVV Jobs may create a public employer profile before an employer joins the service. An authorized representative may request control through a verified account. EVV Jobs may review the request, ask for additional proof, approve or decline it, and retain the resulting access record. Approval transfers the profile and its existing listings to the representative's account.

7 Prohibited conduct and content

You may not use EVV Jobs to:

  • post false, misleading, expired, unlawful, discriminatory, or fraudulent opportunities;
  • request payment from an applicant as a condition of applying or misrepresent a business opportunity as employment;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
  • post hateful or demeaning content targeting a person or group, sexually explicit or sexually exploitative content, violent threats or graphic violence, or content that promotes or instructs self-harm;
  • collect, scrape, sell, or misuse user data, listings, or contact information;
  • send spam, phishing messages, malware, or unauthorized promotions;
  • impersonate a person or organization or misstate your authority;
  • submit a knowingly false, retaliatory, duplicative, or abusive community report;
  • bypass access controls, probe security, disrupt the service, or use automated access without written permission;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
  • help another person do any of the above.

8 Review and enforcement

Candidate-facing job listing text is screened by Microsoft Azure AI Content Safety before the listing can publish. A listing that meets the configured severity threshold for hateful, sexual, violent, or self-harm content is denied automatically and remains private. EVV Jobs does not place that listing into a routine manual content moderation queue.

Each distinct denied submission adds one failure to the organization. Retrying the same unchanged denied job version does not add another failure. When the organization reaches its configured failure limit, which is three by default, EVV Jobs automatically suspends the organization, removes its published jobs from search, records the reason, and alerts an administrator. An administrator may adjust the limit or failure count with an audited reason. An authorized representative may contact EVV Jobs to ask for a review of an automated suspension.

We may review, refuse, limit, remove, or correct content that violates this agreement, creates risk, receives a credible complaint, or undermines the usefulness of the service. We may ask an employer to verify its identity, organization, authority, or listing details. We are not required to monitor every listing or communication, and publication does not mean EVV Jobs endorses or verifies it.

Signed-in users may report a job listing or public employer page. Reports are private from the reported employer and are reviewed by EVV Jobs administrators. A report does not guarantee removal or a particular outcome. We may retain the report and related review record for trust, safety, and enforcement purposes.

9 Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant EVV Jobs a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

For public employer and job content, this license includes creating accurate excerpts, using the employer's public logo when available, adding EVV Jobs branding and a link to the listing, and distributing the resulting announcement through EVV Jobs social pages and publishing providers such as Zernio. EVV Jobs will not intentionally change the factual meaning of a listing when preparing an announcement. You authorize EVV Jobs to provide those public facts and the operational identifiers needed for delivery to the publishing provider and connected social platforms.

If you upload an organization logo, you represent that you are authorized to use it. EVV Jobs may validate, resize, reorient, remove metadata from, and convert the image into a safe format for display across organization and job pages.

The EVV Jobs name, branding, interface, software, and original content are owned by EVV Jobs or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. This agreement does not transfer those rights to you.

10 Applications, social distribution, and external sites

An in-app application becomes an employer-accessible hiring record. Employers must limit access to authorized people, use applicant information only for legitimate hiring, and protect it with reasonable safeguards. For a resume-by-email listing, EVV Jobs sends the approved resume and optional note to the organization's contact email; the delivered copy is then controlled by the recipient and its email provider. A listing may instead direct you to an employer website or third-party application system. EVV Jobs does not control those external services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, fees, or data practices. Your use of an external service is governed by its own terms and privacy notice.

EVV Jobs may use Zernio to submit a public job announcement to the EVV Jobs LinkedIn and Facebook pages when a listing first publishes. Social delivery is a best-effort promotional feature and is not a condition of publication on EVV Jobs. Zernio, LinkedIn, or Facebook may delay, reject, modify, restrict, or remove a post under their own terms and policies. EVV Jobs does not guarantee social delivery, reach, engagement, continued availability, or removal of copies shared or retained by others. LinkedIn and Facebook do not sponsor or endorse EVV Jobs merely because EVV Jobs maintains pages on their services.

11 Availability, changes, and fees

We may add, remove, or change features and may suspend service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always remain available.

Job-posting purchases

The price, discount, currency, and total charge are shown before you complete Stripe Checkout. Payment is requested only after the listing version passes automated content screening. A successful payment authorizes EVV Jobs to publish that exact screened version for the period shown at purchase, currently 30 days. Drafts and denied submissions are not charged. Material edits to a published listing may require another screening check but do not restart or extend the purchased period.

An eligible limited-time launch offer may be applied automatically to each posting purchase while the offer is available. Availability is confirmed with Stripe when Checkout is created. Offers may have a deadline or redemption limit, may not be combined, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended before purchase. A discount already applied to a completed purchase is not removed retroactively.

Once a paid listing publishes, the posting charge is final and is not prorated because the employer fills the role, closes the listing early, deletes the organization, or stops using EVV Jobs. If payment succeeds but EVV Jobs cannot publish the paid listing, we may repair publication, provide a replacement posting, or refund the affected charge. Listings removed or suspended for violating this agreement are not eligible for a refund except where required by law. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

Stripe processes the charge and may display its own payment terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or similar charges that are identified at Checkout or required by law. Do not initiate a duplicate Checkout if a payment result is still being confirmed; use the resume-checkout option or contact EVV Jobs for help.

12 Suspension and termination

You may stop using EVV Jobs at any time and may close your account from the account area. A sole organization owner must first add another owner or delete the organization. Deleting an organization closes and removes its jobs and revokes access for every member. We may lock, suspend, deactivate, or terminate an account, organization, listing, or access when reasonably necessary to enforce this agreement, comply with law, protect users, investigate risk, or secure the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination remain in effect.

13 Disclaimers

EVV Jobs is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, that an employer or applicant is who they claim to be, that a person will receive an interview or job offer, that an employer will fill a role, or that the service will be error free. You are responsible for your own evaluation, communications, hiring decisions, and safety precautions.

Nothing on EVV Jobs is legal, tax, immigration, career, or employment advice.

14 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVV Jobs and its operator, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid EVV Jobs during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15 Responsibility for claims

If you use EVV Jobs for an employer or other organization, that organization agrees to defend and indemnify EVV Jobs and its operator from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from its listings, hiring practices, submitted content, violation of this agreement, or violation of another person’s rights. This section does not apply to an individual job seeker acting only in a personal capacity.

16 Governing law and disputes

Indiana law governs this agreement without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and EVV Jobs agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve it informally for 30 days after written notice. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, claims must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.

17 General terms

If a provision of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or this agreement without our written permission. We may assign this agreement as part of operating or transferring the service. This agreement and any feature-specific written terms are the entire agreement about EVV Jobs.

18 Changes and contact

We may update this agreement. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects account holders, we will provide notice appropriate to the change. Continued use after an updated agreement takes effect means you accept it.

Questions or legal notices can be submitted through the authenticated contact page.
